MSZ Scouting Report
Report: Justin Morneau has progressed well both offensively and defensively. He is a former catcher converted to first baseman, but has done well thus far as a first baseman.
Strengths: He has been clutch in the ladder innings of games. Very good power, with an excellent eye for pitches. Very good plate patience, and can unload a lot of power on hanging pitches.
Weaknesses: Tends to not heat up until about the 6th or 7th inning. Sometimes he guesses rather than use his eyes and instincts, causing him to swing past hittable pitches.

Morneau has a lot of talent. If he can be consistant from inning one through nine, he could be one of the best.
