MSZ Scouting Report |
Report: Mike Lamb is a solid baseball player that had a limited amount of playing time in his career while stuck behind players on the depth chart. He will get his chance to prove himself while with the Twins.
Strengths: Although he was limited to right handed batters for most of the time while with the Houston Astros, he is a solid hitter against both right and left-handed pitchers. He is a consistent hitter when given consistent playing time and drives the ball real hard.
Weaknesses: The swing is a little awkward and may be a little ahead of pitches at times. He doesn't produce as much power as expected out of a third baseman. He is a little below average defensively. |
